Balance is a ph leveler.  It brings the level of the ph of the natural nail closer to the ph of the acrylic allowing them to bond stronger.  Use Balance before Primer for maximum adhesion of the acrylic to the natural nail.

Primer is a bonding agent not a dehydrater.  Use 2 coat of Primer sparingly.  Letting each coat dry before apply the next coat.  Primer dries to a white chalky finish and it is that residue that the acrylic is attracted to and adhere to.  2 coats provide maximum adhesion.
